Trambisera Marmi was founded in 1974 by Mauro Biagi. The Italian quarry, in Seravezza, Tuscany (LU), within an area known as Trambiserra, "open-air" cultivation is used, where planning and technology are currently enabling the realization of rough blocks, improving the production of such blocks in quantity as well as in quality. Quality, versatility, elegance and durability make these materials suitable for exterior and interior architectural solutions as well as for sculpture. We are asked in 2020 to designed the new logo and the brand identity. We started from a modular grid to create a linear, solid and contemporary sign. Its shape evokes the geometries and the typical cuts of the quarry marble, its full and empty spaces. As brand typeface we selected the SCTO Grotesk A Bold by Schick Toikka. The design system includes different tools from printed matters to web. The company wins the Best Communicator Award 2020 at the 5th edition of Marmomac in Verona.
