Photography: Pietro Bucciarelli
The identity project designed for Cromic starts from the idea of a typographic representation of music. A music that becomes a written word and a dynamic shapes in constant change. The large number of stylistic alternates designed to integrate Nizar Kazan's Lausanne typeface become a new alphabet of symbols, a dynamic system of fluid shapes. The photographic developed together with the photographer Pietro Bucciarelli is an extension of this new idea of writing. The images, mainly in black and white, reflect the desire to show an elusive, intangible profile, inserted in the natural context and often merged with it. Highly dreamlike images that investigate the emotional dimension of the artist and his relationship with the surrounding environment. The project also consists in the design of more impromptu and graphic contents conceived as another alphabet parallel to the typographic one. Animated optical patterns, all strictly in black and white.
